The 2008 Lake County Triathlon
Thanks to you the 1st Annual Lake County Triathlon was a huge success! Thanks to all the athletes and volunteers for making this such a great event and we look forward to seeing you all next year! The final results are now posted!

The standard distance for a Sprint course consists of:
750m/.5mi swimming
20km/12.4mi cycling
5km/3.1mi running
The standard for an Olympic course consists of:
1.5km/.93mi swimming
40km/24.8mi cycling
10km/6.2mi running
Competitors all across the Midwest will compete in this year’s great tradition. Athletes will begin the event starting at Paulus Park. Awards will be given to those who can master the course with the fastest time. The Lake County Triathlon is one of the area’s fastest growing events. Local community businesses as well as corporate companies will be showing their support by sponsoring this year’s event.
